Neh 8:10 Then he said to them, "Go your way, eat the fat, drink the
sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for
this day is holy to our LORD. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the LORD
is your strength." (NKJ)

Outreach is a Major Ministry for Holy Trinity

Holy Trinity has many opportunities for outreach in the Nashville area. We provide clothing for many in the homeless community, and usually need men's sox, underwear (boxers), casual shirts, jackets, pants, jeans, and casual or work shoes.
If you like to shop, and see a bargain, but don't it doesn't fit any of the men in your family, please think about a donation to the Holy Trinity Closet. Blankets, towels, and personal grooming articles, are also needed.

Church in the Yard (CITY)

Every Sunday afternoon we have an additional service which we call Church in the Yard. It is just what the name implys, a service that is held outdoors to serve those who don't feel comfortable inside the church. This idea started in Jan 2008, every Sunday at 2pm. there is a Service of Holy Eucharist, followed by community lunch at 2:45pm. Most are people from the neighborhood, with a few from the parish.  CiTY has an average attendance of 20-30, in all kinds of weather.

Eucharist in Spanish

To better serve the Hispanic community, which lives close to Holy Trinity, we have a Eucharistic service in Spanish (Santa Eucaristia) every Wednesday at 11:30am. Starting Sept 3, 2008, there will be a "Latino Lunch Program" from 9am-1pm every Wednesday.
