About Read for Life
Read for Life is a series of study aids for the Bible that encourage active learning and prayerful reflection. The three crosses in the symbol remind us of Christ's sacrifice and God loves all of us, sinners and saints alike. The Gye Nyame symbol from the Akan people of Ghana sits below the center cross. This Andinkra symbol means "except God" and reminds us of the complete supremacy of God. These symbols are surrounded by a heart shaped cardiod (rho=1-sin theta), reminding us that God is love (1 John 4:16).
The Read for Life series was created by Karama Neal as a tool for her own deeper, reflective Bible Study and she hope it will be at least as useful for your walk with God as it has been for hers.
