Mario Manzini being strapped into a Regulation Humane Restraint Strait-Jacket by movie star Danny Aiello and former Middle Weight Boxing Champion of the World Jake LaMotta (The real Raging Bull) at New York Citys' Tavern On The Green Restaurant for the Tony Awards Luncheon. Manzini escaped in less than a minute.

Humane Restraint Strait-Jackets

Humane Restraint Strait-Jackets are the most used style Strait-Jackets in Hospitals and Mental Institutions. This is the same style Strait-Jacket that Mario Manzini was challenged with for his Guinness Book of World Records title on the NBC-TV show the "Guinness Games". His record is listed in the 1980 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records. He escaped in only 8.5 seconds while suspended upside down high in the air without opening any of the straps. After all these years the Guinness Book of World Records has not recorded anyone being able to get out faster than Manzini.  Some professional Escape Artists have claimed to have beaten Manzinis' Guinness Record. That may be possible, but it has not been recorded as yet in the Guinness book of World Records.
