Mario did not want any part of the criminal life so he ran away from home at the age of 16 and joined the Hunt Bros. Circus as an Escape Artist. He eventually worked his way up to performing for 6 years with the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus and then was the featured attraction with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey CIRCUS WORLD in Orlando, Florida. He's performed at the 6 Flags Great Escape park in Lake George, NY; Gaslight Village in Lake George, NY; Old Chicago, in Chicago, IL; Dorney Park in Allentown, PA and many other major Theme Parks.
He's performed at thousands of Colleges & Universities, School Assemblies, Fairs & Festivals, Corporate Events, Ceasars Casino in Atlantic City as well as in Las Vegas and around the USA. He's performed in Tokyo, Japan; Austrailia; Europe; South America and Canada.
He's performed at Radio City Music Hall in NYC as well as the world famous Palace Theatre on Broadway in NYC and at Madison Square Garden in NYC .
He's appeared on most of the major TV shows & specials and performed with Evel Knievel at the famous Snake River Canyon Jump televised on special closed circuit TV around the entire world escaping from a strait-jacket and handcuffs while dangling 1 mile high upside down from a burning rope over the canyon cliff. He's owned the biggest Italian Restaurant Vesuvio's on Broadway in NYC where all the stars dine.
He's become friends with the biggest celebrities in show business and the sport's world. He's owned many businesses, produced a Musical Comedy Actor's Equity production "We'd Rather Switch" starring the late Madilyn Kahn which ran 2 years at the Mermaide Theatre. He's been a millionaire, traveled the world and is still the current "Guinness World Champion Escapologist". His show is "A Tribute To Houdini".
