Homework: Newspaper Headlines – due Wed. 2/8
• Look at the spelling words and come up with 10 interesting news headlines (using all 10 spelling words).
• Remember that headlines are supposed to get the reader’s attention so they will want to read more about it.
• Headlines are not complete sentences – they just catch your attention.
• UNDERLINE AND NUMBER ALL THE SPELLING WORDS.
• Must make sense and use context clues
